Yeah, I mean there were even prototypes of self-loading semiautos during the turn of the century. just crazy

too much shit going into weapons though thats the only problem. Like you said self loading semi-autos they dont really need it. You need that break from when you eject a mag to when you start firing again for a few reasons like: Letting the ejection chamber cool, allowing the loading mechanism's time to readjust and take a break so they dont jam or fail if you take that out then your left with something less reliable and more prone to over heating or discharging, etc. I personally like the Bushman ACR's more than most assault rifles but i'd still prefer an M16A2, the enlarge gas release chamber, semi/auto fire mechanism and the materials its built from. Its less prone to jamming even when use submerged, the lessened recoil since the M16 and M16A1, it is slightly heavier due to the heavier barrel type but hey not everything can be perfect
