cult (10 min? wtf)

i'm thinking about starting a black metal/ pagan/ shaman/ nihilism based cult.......more like a group of people with the same common need to do their own thing and get tax breaks for it.....the cult/ religion aspect of it is more about parody and tax exemptions as well as an attempt to get certain legal approval for the shamnistic aspect of it.

it's actually more of a survivalist group/ motorcycle club in my head but the cult would fit well with it.....gives it sort of a mystique........plus having your own religion would be badass.

of course convincing the powers that be that a group of people with no actual beliefs and a common disdain for organized religion and modern society are indeed a religion.......but i'll work that out if the time ever comes.


anyone else think it'd be cool to have a cult just for the hell of it?

You should go to Wikipedia and read about Waco, and then avoid all the stuff they did wrong. ha

i couldn't create a cult, unless it was a lesbian cult but i don't want a lesbian cult.

i'm partial to having a pack of free roaming yard wolves...

less exotic of a diet, more adapted to the climate of wherever this heavily fortified complex will be.

plus more metal.

get a random mix of violent animals...that way when they take down one they have to figure out a new plan for taking down the next.

Get the yard wolves, a group of attach eagles (feds cant shoot them) and a bunch of vicious ass monkeys.

You could try to work in that you have to kill anybody who comes on to the sacred land during a ritual. Then you have the area of your fort be the sacred land and a ritual that goes 24/7 everyday.
I don't know the difference between cult and religion, i thought it was that it had to be accepted by a major religious or political figure, but i don't think that is the case.

The celebrity would bring a lot of attention which would attract a bunch of other people also.
